AVYRU Labs LLC ("AVYRU Labs," "we," "us," or "our") operates Where Did I Put It?. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.
Information you provide
The app may process account information used to sign in, household membership and invitations, and the memories you choose to save. A saved memory may include an item name or description, the place where you put it, notes, and a photo you choose to take or select.
If you use voice features, the app processes the audio or speech input needed to turn what you say into an item memory or a search request. You can use supported non-voice controls instead where available.
Photos, camera and microphone
Camera and photo-library access are requested only when you choose features that need them. Microphone access is requested when you choose a voice feature. Device permissions can be changed through your device settings.
Item locations are not GPS tracking
When you save a location such as “hall closet” or “garage shelf,” that is information you entered about an item. Where Did I Put It? does not need your device’s precise GPS location to provide this core feature.
How information is used
We use information to provide and maintain the app, authenticate users, save and retrieve memories, support household sharing, process the voice and search features you request, provide support, protect the service, diagnose problems, and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information or use your saved household memories to build advertising profiles.
Service providers
Where Did I Put It? uses service providers to operate app functions, including cloud infrastructure and authentication, storage, and services needed for supported AI or voice-assisted features. These providers process information on our behalf or as needed to provide their services. Production disclosures will reflect the services actually used in the released app.
Household sharing
If you join or create a shared household, information intended for that household may be available to other household members. Only join households with people you trust and be thoughtful about what you save in a shared space.
Subscriptions and payments
If paid features are offered through Apple’s App Store or Google Play, the store processes the purchase and payment information under its own terms and privacy practices. AVYRU Labs does not receive your full payment-card number from the app store.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where deletion controls are available in the app, you can use them to remove supported content or account information. You may also contact us for privacy or deletion questions.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Where Did I Put It? is a household organization app and is not designed as a service directed to children. Do not use it to store information that you are not authorized to provide.
Your choices
You can choose what memories to save, whether to add photos, whether to use voice features, and whether to participate in household sharing. You can also manage camera, photo, and microphone permissions through your device.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. We will update the date on this page when we make revisions.
